ConvertSave is a desktop application that allows you to convert files locally on your computer, without uploading to untrusted websites. It works with native system tools and open-source CLI software to provide a simple drag-and-drop file converter solution.
Absolutely! ConvertSave uses local tools on your computer, and all conversions happen offline. Your files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server.
ConvertSave was made by Spencer and Hunter Martin, two brothers and independent developers from the United States. You can find us on YouTube, Spencer at Pixel & Bracket and Hunter at hUndefined, creating software and design tutorials to help others.
With ConvertSave, you can convert unlimited files. There are no restrictions on the number of conversions you can perform. Your only limit is your computer's processing power.
ConvertSave supports hundreds of conversions, including image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, TIFF, PDF, etc…), audio formats (MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, etc…), video formats (MP4, MOV, WEBM, AVI, etc…), and many more through native and open-source software like ImageMagick and FFmpeg.
Yes! We're constantly working on new features and improvements, including support for more file formats, bulk and individual file conversion settings, and other file manipulations like image cropping, reducing file size, and more!
Within the app, ConvertSave allows you to easily download and install the latest compatible tools from their official sources. If you prefer to use your own installations, you can configure that in settings.
ConvertSave offers two pricing options: a $5/month subscription license ($3/month if billed yearly), or a one-time payment of $97 for a lifetime license.
Each license key can be activated on up to 3 personal computers. If you need more, you can purchase multiple lifetime licenses or contact us at team@convertsave.com.
