A stability and security update. ConvertSave looks and works the same as 1.1.2, with many fixes from your bug reports.
Added
- •Opening a file with ConvertSave (or dropping it on the app icon) adds it to the window that's already open instead of starting a second copy
- •ConvertSave can now ask you to install an important update before you continue
Improved
- •The results banner tells you where your converted files were saved, and a batch with failures is no longer shown as a success
- •Error messages show why a conversion failed instead of just "Conversion failed"
- •Videos default to MP4 instead of Animated GIF, MP4 files default to MP3, and a file is never defaulted to its own format
- •Video conversions check each file's codecs first, so iPhone and other MOV videos convert to MP4 reliably
- •Clearer messages when an update can't be installed, including when ConvertSave is opened straight from the disk image on Mac
- •Log files are kept between launches, which makes support requests easier to investigate

- •Conversions that reported success without creating a file
- •Being asked for your product key again after a device was deactivated. Click Activate and your key is filled in for you
- •A temporary server problem could remove your license from your computer
- •Converting videos with odd dimensions, common in screen recordings, to MP4
- •OGG, Opus and WebM audio on Macs where FFmpeg was installed with Homebrew
- •Cancel now stops everything that's running and removes partial files
- •Failed conversions no longer leave empty files behind
- •Removing or clearing files during a conversion could put status labels on the wrong file. The list is now locked while converting
- •Files that can't be read, for example ones still on a phone, are skipped with a reason instead of added as 0 bytes
- •Previews for HEIC and other formats that can't be shown now use the file icon instead of erroring
- •The Options Builder no longer drops flags it doesn't recognise
- •A failed FFmpeg or ImageMagick download keeps your existing install
